Overview 

The BRITA Flow Cask features a large 8.2L capacity which is designed to fit in your fridge. It has a convenient tap for pouring, making this perfect for larger families, frequent household use or for outdoor occasions such as camping and picnics.

The BRITA Flow Cask use the MAXTRA+ filter with the unique MicroFlow technology which is formulated to provide expert levels of filtration for different water conditions. Made of activated carbon from natural coconut shells, its activated carbon pearls act to absorb and lock away chlorine and other taste and odour impairing substances, resulting in fresher, cleaner water. Additionally, its ion exchange pearls help to reduce metals like lead and copper as well as ensuring reliable protection from limescale build-up. The BRITA Flow Cask also compatible with MAXTRA+ Limescale filter.

The in-built electronic indicator is designed to remind you when the filter should be replaced. Each MAXTRA+ filter provides 150 litres of pure and fresh tasting filtered water and should be changed every 150 litres or each month (based on average household size drinking 8 glasses per day).

What is the difference between the Flow Cask and BRITA Jugs?

With an 8.2L capacity, the flow cask is designed to suit larger households or small office space or those tend to larger water consumption needs.

What filters fit into the Flow Cask?

MAXTRA+ and MAXTRA+ Limescale only.

Can it fit into my fridge?

Yes, the flow cask is suited for a fridge shelf and will fit depending on the measurements of your fridge. Please refer to the specifications tab for product measurements.

How do I know when to change the filter?

The flow cask uses the same filter timer as the BRITA Jugs (excluding Style). It will indicate the 4 week lifetime of the filter over four bars and each bar disappears after a week has passed. Once all four bars have disappeared, the filter is in need of replacement.
